I Swallowed the Ocean Today

And I floated 

Became bloated

And I breathed in water

Breathed out bubbles

And I swam with countless fishes

Rolled with the tides

Fell on the sand

I Swallowed the Ocean Today

And I saw the golden sunrays

Refracted, reflected, contained in the horizon

I dived from the surface down to the deepest bottom

Of the blue embrace of water

I Swallowed the Ocean Today

And I sat on the seafloor

Never for one second stopped 

To sway with the flow 

and dance of 

wet mysteries 

of the down below
